Here’s Kim with her Bullock Custom that features a highly figured flame maple carved top with a matching headstock, DiMarzio super-distortion zebra humbuckers, contoured mahogany body with matching mahogany cavity covers, and equipped with a John Mann PRS Tremolo system and Schaller locking tuners. Kim performs regularly in the Baltimore/ Washington D.C. area with her group One Third Wish, and is also the resident guitarist at several area professional theaters.
Here’s solo recording artist Dave with a fire-engine red electric 12-string that’s he’s renamed “Rosie”. The guitar features a solid maple body and neck, grenedillo fingerboard, Carvin humbuckers. Dave has recorded with this guitar on some of his original compositions.
Paul Dean, Loverboy
No stranger to custom instruments, Paul Dean performed and recorded many of the Loverboy hits on a hand-built instrument back in the 80’s. Recently, Paul tried out a Bullock Custom featuring a quilted maple top, original Floyd Rose tremolo, locking nut & locking tuners, and loaded with a Seymour Duncan humbucker and a Fernandez Sustainor.
Ricky Byrd, Solo Artist, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Roger Daltry
That iconic guitar riff at the beginning of Joan Jett’s “I Love Rock & Roll”? Yep, that’s this dude. Ricky Byrd. In fact, Ricky’s guitar playing is all over Jett’s classic hits. Here’s Ricky checking out a Bullock custom that features a carved curly maple top, hand-stained sunburst finish, contoured neck heel, original Floyd Rose with locking tuners, and split-coil Dimarzio humbuckers.
